Is It Time?
I'll be honest. One of the main reasons I stopped photography and let my interest wane was because of the lack of audience, mainly on Dev art. Many of my photos barely got any favourites, and marketing them was tiring. It was hard to sustain such an interest, not because my work received harsh criticism, but because it barely received any criticism, or even any attention at all!On hindsight though, it seems a pretty pathetic reason. My total lack of determination and perseverance makes me ashamed of myself. I browsed through some of the works I'd submitted on aforementioned online community, and they still make me smile. With the correct guidance, and working with the correct people, perhaps this time will be different. And dyou know what? As long as I grow, use and hone this small talent and interest God has given me, it doesn't matter what the world thinks. I will go where You lead me. ACS(I) offers visual arts as a subject in Group 6. I am seriously considering taking this course to be a part of my IB diploma. Apart from all that I mentioned in this post, there is also a slight apprehension of diving into the artists' ocean. Many have been known to be sucked into the whirlpool, losing sight of the main Purpose and big picture, never to re-emerge again. QT just doubled in importance! / 10:55 AM ยท |
