Piano exam was today, and because i've been so caught up catching good grades for the CAs, I totally forgot about the piano exam till yesterday. I really freaked out yesterday upon hearing the news, and was convinced I'd fail tody. However, when I went to school today and told my good friends Justina and Siyan, Justina gave me words of wisdom and comfort, and Siyan related an encouraging story:Siyan: You know for my scales, I restarted loads of times! Zoe: Really? Your examiner didn't tell you to move on? Siyan: I didn't care about my examiner. This was encouraging, because it gave the knowledge of knowing that if I do screw up, I can always ignore the examiner and do it all over. Because he don't matter, only the piano and I. Yess. So anyway. Yesterday totally sucked, so I shan't bother describing it. Well, except for bowling. And that wasn't said just to please Meli. Although Meli is worth pleasing, but not in that sense, after all that concern she'd showered over me, especially after the soccer match. You know what I'm referring to, Mel. :) Anyway. I learnt the one-step bowl and am still trying to co-ordinate my 2-step bowl. It's pretty good, considering how much my co-ordination just sucks. Still plenty of ball-dropping-and-running-after-that-because-it's-so-loud, but I feel I've improved ever so much since a week ago. Thanks, coach. Accidentally in love! / 5:40 PM · |
