Today was pretty fun. In church i was on duty, and was late as usual. Because i did the powerpoint at 10pm and within an hour, during which i wasn't really 100%, and so the powerpoint was a little screwed. Ah well. Can't change what's done. I'm kind of upset a certain guy didn't show today, but that's another thing that can't be changed, can it? After church i went about giving Valentine day hearts, which i made a week before, with Cayln. I also gave out cookies, which were kind of hard due to the fact that i was watching "House" when i was baking them, and finding out what happened to that dying fella was far more important than cooked flour, so they all got burnt. Sorry. But i still put in a lot of effort to those cookies; i started baking at 8pm yesterday and finished at 11pm, when i could have been nicely sleeping. So, very sorry once again if i caused your gums and teeth any damage, but it's the effort put in that counts, along with the thoughts.After church i went home to slack around. My brother very kindly set up the game cube to play, and invited me to join him. I tell you, it is a little unnerving to see a 5 year old work the wires and remotes to set up the machine. Alright, fine, he's 6 this year, but it is still scary! Anyway, i played some mario game with him for about 2 and a half hours, then i had lunch. During lunch, i was watching "Scooby-Doo", the movie. Yes, i know, i may be a little too old for this, but there are younger kids in the house to cater to too. And i still enjoyed it a little. I'm young at heart Following the rolling of credits after the movie, i went to chua chu kang to meet Celeste. Celeste was complaining about a week ago how PE was her only exercise for the week, and how this CNY week she would not be able to get any exercise, so i volunteered to go to the gym with her. On the way to her condo in chua chu kang, i met Kamal. It's been a while, and he looks exactly the same, only darker. We caught up on the way to the mrt station, but then after that we had to part ways. I arrived at chua chu kang a full 20 minutes late as the bus was late in fetching me there. After mucking about in the gym for about an hour, I had to go home for dinner, and Celeste had a reunion dinner, so i bathed and left. Just as i was about to board the train home, my parents called and told me to change my route, as they would be passing kranji and they could take me to dinner from there. I must say it has certainly been such a long time since i set foot into a gym, and it has been refreshing, almost nostalgic. That probably sounded a bit weird, but i miss trainings, and in particular, i miss cheer. But then again, change is always inevitable, it's whether it comes sooner or later. The perfect stranger.
