i'll just re-count from when i last wrote. the musical went okay. in a feeble effort to try to look more like Joanne, whom i was supposed to play the younger version of, i took off my specs. however, i forgot my eyesight is really terrible, and it so happened i nearly whacked something when on stage, but saw the whatever-i-nearly-tripped-over about 5 steps before hitting it. but other than that, i'd say it went pretty well.then the next day was christmas, and everybody was exchanging gifts and such. i was very surprised by victor's, sam queck's and ryan's joint gift to me. they got me a terrapin! i was like laughing all the way home. after much thought, i named the thing "what". it's so cute. then there was caroline's birthday party, which was fun. i got closer to cayln during the party, because we walked about a lot. not long after was youth camp, which certainly exceeded my expectations by far. my group was rather quiet at first, and i only knew levin. sophia and hansel were acquaintances, but i didn't know much about them. but by the 2nd day i had gotten to know the group better, so i had more fun. suppers were also fun. on the first night i didn't go out, but on the 2nd night i went out with nick, who had just come. and on the 3rd night i went with the group, but ended up talking with levin. i had to miss the games due to catching a cold from my brother before i went to the camp, but it was amusing to watch everybody scream and run around aimlessly during the water game. overall, i bonded with a lot with some people, and i also learned quite a lot from the sessions. everything a camp should be. the first day of school was okay. i'm sitting next to jeanne! i have mrs lee as a form teacher (darn), and i'm register number 33. i don't know why you had to know that last bit, but now you do. on the 2nd day due to an unforeseeable jam, which i was stuck in for 20 minutes, i was 15 minutes late. but for some very very strange reason, only a total of about 10 people were caught in the jam and were late, so the booking was inexcusable. so humiliating. the second day with a clean record and already i screwed up. i went to justina's house after school to do homework; we have a lot of it, and i can't concentrate unless i do it with someone else. when i was there i finally met her brother face-to-face, and he's um.. shorter, than i expected. i think he's in uni or something like that. anyway. it's been very stressful, these past few days, mostly because i haven't a clue as to what to do about a certain problem. i need someone to talk to, but everybody is either not that close to me, or very busy. you were the best friend i ever had. i was there to laugh with you when you were glad, there to comfort you when you were sad. you were the one i held dear; i was there to chase away your fears, to wipe away all your tears. and now when i need you most, you disappear. / 4:59 PM · |
