yeah! i'm over the moon. the result of reading yet another book that answered so many questions!so many people are at camp or on holiday! both jeanne and weiyi are on holiday; levin just came back from a camp; and caroline, wanteng and dani are at leaders' retreat. and tomorrow, i'll be off! out of the country! finally. about time too. but it's only for 2 days though, which is a real shame. i'll be missing a musical rehearsal tomorrow, but there's nothing i can do. also, i'll be missing caroline's first drumming duty on sunday. she's off to play for the little kids! but i promised i'll send her an sms, and although it'll be costly, that's the closest i can get to being there for her. yesterday there was electrical maintenance for the whole block, so my family went out the entire day and avoided coming home until late. it wasn't difficult, since we had lunch with my mum downtown, then at about 4 we went to my brother's graduation concert. he is now k2! one more year. it is quite ironic, because the year he enters primary school is the same year my sister leaves primary school and enters secondary. but he has a strong character so it should be no problem for him. during the concert it was quite amusing to see theo towering over his classmates. i think being tall runs in the male side of my family. my cousin is also very tall, taller than my dad, roughly 187cm. after his graduation we went to see alvin and the chipmunks. it is bad, though better than enchanted. speaking of which, recently my sister went to meet up with tiara to catch that movie. because there was only one set of keys, i had to follow her. and watch enchanted, all over again! torture, i tell you! during the movie i wanted to go get a hotdog, but i went out through the wrong exit. the door has this ingenious design, such that once you're out, you can't get back in. so i had to go out of the building completely, then re-enter again. to top it off i only had my wallet with me. the tickets and my handphone were still in the cinema. i didn't even remember which cinema i had come from. but fortunately, i did remember the starting time of the movie, and the movie title, and using that information, i could re-enter again. however, i realised i didn't have enough money for a hotdog after that. wasted! okay, back to the point- alvin and the chipmunks. the acting is horrible, the storyline is terribly cliched, but the chipmunks are so well done! hats off to the computer genius behind them. today has been very uneventful. piano lesson and chinese tuition was moved to today because of tomorrow's not-being-around. plus i have to get about packing. i have decided! there is no point in letting go, it'll only lead to more hurt. so just leave everything status quo, and let the great Teacher take care of it all. The time will come. Not in the near future, but it'll come. / 1:36 PM · |
