well, i see i dont exactly keep to my word, since i told you i'll complete the prefect interview for you to view and i've lost count on the number of times i've said i'll blog later and i didnt. oh well. i shall tell you about the prefect interview now. contd'...**interviewer: i **me: z i: were you from methodist pri? z: no. i: which pri sch are you from? z: northland i: pardon? z: NORTHLAND pri sch i: are you local? z: no, i live in yishun i: no! as in, are you from singapore? z: oh! yes i: now, you said you lived in yishun. did you put mgs as your first choice? z: yes, i did. i: and what made you want to go to mgs? z: *so obviously lying* i thought that it had the right environment and academic arrangement to shape me into a more independent person with a good character. i: uhuh. and what do you think of mg now? z: i think that they apply the right amount of pressure on their students so that they do not backslide. but they do not put so much that the students will feel depressed and all... *so obviously lying again* i: oh, ok. can you tell me about your bookings? z: well, i was booked only yesterday, at the swim meet because i was late. however, this was due to the jam outside toa payoh. i: uhuh. are there anymore? z: um.. yea. there was this time, when i didnt wear mg socks, and i got booked. at that point of time, all my mg socks were wet as they had just been washed. i: i see. and how do you think you can avoid this again? z: well, my mother made me buy another 6 pairs of mg socks. i: haha... ok. are there anymore bookings? z: *frowning and thinking it was ok if i m ---sorry, i wrote this yesterday (right now is april 24) in the computer lab until they closed, and thats when they closed so i couldnt finish the post. so i shall continue now.--- z:*frowning and thinking it was ok if i missed a booking* noppe... i dont think so. i: well, my records here say you were booked once for being late for assembly. z: *oh shit.* oh! yea... i had a stomach ache that day.. i: and then what happened? z: er.. i went toilet? so i was late. i tried to explain to the prefect but she still booked me... i: was there anyone with you at that time? z: no, i like to go to the toilet alone. i: so what do you think you could have done? z: erm... there wasnt really anything i could do... because i did try to explain to her but she booked me none the less. i: but what do you think you could do to prevent this in future? z: *reflecting on the past question...* i could tell someone that i went to the toilet so the prefect would know i'm actually not lying and in actual fact run off somewhere... i: yes, thats right. you can also tell your form teacher or any teacher for that matter if they happen to walk by your classroom. z: *nodding cus i couldnt think of anything else i could do...*yes, yes, yes. i: now, tell me about yourself. name three good characteristics that you posses. z: *ha!! i practised this already!!!!* well, i believe i have initiative, am responsible and organised. i: hm... ok. now you mentioned you were initiative. what do you mean by that? z: uhm... well... when i see that there are things that can be done, i do them before other people ask me to so that it saves them the trouble. i: hm. ok. so what do you think a prefect should do? z: er. well. i think it is expected of her to maintain order in the school. i: and when you're not a prefect you cant do these things? z: no, its just that when you're a prefect, you are expected to these things more as you have been given authority to do so. as in you can book people. i: so if you do become a prefect, and you do something wrong, what should you do? z: uh, well... i would have to book myself. i: ha... ok. thats all the questions we have for you. you may leave now. thats how i remember it to be. some parts have been eliminated because i cant remember them while others because i dont know how they went... as in the sequence, i've forgotten the sequence... and maybe the sequence is mixed up.. i really cant remember. well. thats your problem. so... too bad i guess... this post is so long... and i need to go to class now... so bye! / 4:41 PM · |
